Please note that stone samples as well as images of natural stones are for
presentation purposes only.
Any stone is a natural product; with naturally occurring variations in
colour, pattern and texture etc. These variations are expected and are the
source of its natural beauty. The samples you see will not be the same when
compared to the slabs you receive. A sample is a piece from the slab, and since
stone is a product of nature they ought to differ. Natural processes cause
the unique beauty of each natural stone slab, which may vary in pattern, tone,
granularity, texture and colour from slab to slab. After you purchase your
worktop or any other natural stone product you have the option to view the
exact slabs that will be used for your worktop.
Warranty
Congratulations on your choice of using London Granite ltd for your worktop and granite or marble tiling project. Choosing one of our premium grade granite slab/tiles products is one of the wisest investments you will ever make. Granite is one of the most beautiful and durable natural products in the world. London Granite ltd is proud to be the fabricator and installer of the granite material for your home or commercial business.
The granite material supplied for your project has been cut from premium quality granite that has been selected for its natural colour, grain structure and durability characteristics. Variations in grain, pattern and markings are inherent characteristics of natural stone and cannot be construed as a defect.
London Granite ltd warrants to the purchaser of this product that the granite is free from defects in the material and in the workmanship provided by London Granite ltd and that the product has been inspected and approved under strict quality guidelines. THIS WARRANTY IS VALID FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF INSTALLATION.
This warranty applies to granite installed in its original location by one of our certified professionals and becomes null and void if the granite is moved from its original installation location. This warranty covers only the materials and workmanship supplied by London Granite ltd and expressly excludes defects in materials or workmanship supplied by any party other than London Granite ltd (3rd party installers) .
Any claim made against this warranty must be submitted in writing. Upon verification by a London Granite ltd field inspector of a valid claim made against this warranty, London Granite ltd will, at its option, repair or replace the affected material if it fails due to any defect caused by London Granite ltd during the fabricating cutting steps and installation of the granite material at your premises.
In the event of a defect in material and/or workmanship provided by London
Granite ltd, the cost of repair or replacement shall be borne by London Granite
ltd and includes the labour charges necessary to repair or replace the granite
material outlined in the purchase contract. If replacement of the stone is
deemed necessary, replacement will be made with a granite marketed by London
Granite ltd at the time it honours this warranty, as nearly identical as possible
to the original stone in colour, grain and grade. This warranty does not cover
the cost of any repairs or replacement undertaken prior to your receipt of
a claim verification from London Granite ltd.
This warranty specifically excludes defects or damages caused by the following:
Customer abuse or misuse of the surface and failure to maintain stone properly, in accordance with London Granite ltd recommendations given to each customer after completion of the job.
Stains and/or discoloration, dark spots or fissures which are naturally occurring in the stone. Normal spotting or discoloration caused by leaving acidic liquid spills on the surface which can be removed by fine gain steel wool and a stone cleaning compound.
Customer use of abrasive of improper cleaning compounds on the granite or marble surfaces can void this 1 year warranty. Also scratches to stone surfaces caused by sharp instruments voids this replacement warranty
This warranty is limited to the provisions stated above, and no other warranty, expressed or implied, exists. The implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is expressly excluded. Except as provided herein, London Granite ltd shall not be liable in either tort or contract for any loss or direct, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use granite or marble surfaces for the application as stated herein.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
Where shown prices per metre are per nominal square metre.
All Goods remain the property of London Granite Ltd until paid for in full and any cheques
cleared.
Where deliveries are made, in line with the industry norm and standard
we operate a doorstep delivery policy.
Risk passes to the purchaser at the
time of delivery.
All risk beyond the doorstep passes to the purchaser. Any
natural stone tile sizes are nominal and London Granite Ltd will not be held
responsible for any actual size variations.
Payment must be received within
14(fourteen) days of Invoice date and before delivery or collection of Goods
takes place.
We London Granite Ltd reserve the right to charge a £25
administration fee for every week that the account becomes overdue.
Cheques
are accepted on the basis that they are cleared by the purchasers bankers
upon first presentation, where/if cheque is returned unpaid we London Granite
Ltd reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £75(seventy
and five) on each occasion.
No refunds or exchanges after 14(fourteen) days
from delivery/collection date, or 30(thirty) days from purchase date,
whichever is the sooner.
No returns without proof of purchase.
No refunds
or exchanges on Sale and/or Clearance products.
London Granite Ltd reserves
the right to charge a handling fee of 25% (twenty and five percent) or £20
(twenty) whichever is the greater on any returns, refunds or cancellations.
We London Granite Ltd reserve the right to refuse cancellation of materials
or products especially ordered from the third party suppliers on behalf of
a customer/purchaser.
We London Granite Ltd reserve the right to refuse refunds
of materials and/or products especially ordered from the third party suppliers
on behalf of a customer/purchaser.
We London Granite Ltd reserve the right
to cancel an order that has not been collected 30 (thirty) days from the
first notification.
All goods must be examined before installation, London
granite Ltd does not accept any responsibility for crazing, colour variations,
shading, and veining, variations in grain or pattern and fissures which are
inherent characteristics of natural stone and cannot be construed as a defect.
All natural stone products must be sealed with a suitable sealer/impregnator
prior and after installation.
We recommend that you clean, seal and maintain
your natural stone products on a regular basis, in accordance with London
Granite ltd recommendations given to each customer/purchaser.
Any broken
or damaged stone tiles must be notified within 1(one) day of delivery.
No
claim for shortages should be allowed unless notified in writing within 3(three)
days of delivery.
All prices or quotations are subject to VAT at the prevailing
rate at the time of invoicing.
London Granite Ltd shall bear no liability
for errors or omissions in their price lists.
London Granite ltd reserves
the right to change prices, terms and conditions of sale without notice.
The customer/ purchaser shall be deemed to have accepted these conditions
of sale without reservation upon the placing of any order for the supply
of good and/or services.
