For most applications, Diresco stone is even better than the most durable natural stone. It is more scratch resistant, waterproof, dimensionally stable and corrosion-resistant and it has outstanding mechanical strength.
This engineered stone can be used without problems in virtually any environment and under the most diverse conditions. It can also be combined perfectly with other materials, such as stainless steel, stone, wood or glass. It is not recommended for use in areas with chlorinated water such as swimming pools or externally in positions with high UV exposure.
The slabs are available in three finishes:
• Polished
• Easy Clean (honed)
• Anticato (shot-blasted – not in all colours)
There is a range of 26 colours, including the seven new colours introduced at the end of 2008 which are proving to be very popular. Diresco are currently installing an additional production line utilising the very latest Breton technology in order to meet demand. This will be operational from the beginning of June 2009.
